PREPARE TO FOCUS – Q-LINK 2008-03-18
How many times, early in your round, are you faced with a decision to make, following a poor shot that has you in trouble, with no easy way-out, and a par to save? You will also have faced, early in your round, the unexpected opportunity, after a great drive, to stretch it and get a quick birdie.
And how many times do you make the right decision? How many times, when you reflect on your round, do you wish you could go back and take a different option? So, how many times in a round do you think that poor decisions cost you shots?
When we talk about good course management I suspect that we are just as often referring to the decision making on the course. It’s pressure that more often leads to poor decisions. Pressure needs focus and concentration – and there is nothing that creates pressure like facing a certain bogey or a birdie opportunity.
If you have started the round in a rush and scrambled around your first holes in a hurry, your mind will not have had time to find the space to think clearly and to concentrate when required.
Q-LINK FOR LIFE
Wearing something that can help you deal with stress on the golf course is appealing, as we all want to reduce our shots, but does the Q-link help off the course too?
As Q-link helps to balance your natural flow of energy you will feel the effects in all aspects of your day to day life. Not only will you feel as though you can deal with your day to day stresses better but your sleep is improved, the effects of jet lag and hangovers is reduced and anxiety is also minimised.

More energy, less stress and greater focus!
Before you start the round you know you should stretch and warm up your muscles. Just as importantly you need to spend the time to clear your mind (equivalent of stretching your muscles) and prepare it to focus (equivalent to warming up your muscles).
Just as arriving at the course with a fit body helps your pre-game routine, so does arriving with a stress-free mind. If you aren’t free of stress, take that bit longer, slow yourself down, clear your mind and prepare to focus.
