MOTOCADDY ADD THEIR DIGITAL KNOWLEDGE TO THE S1 2008-03-25

In March 2006 saw the launch of the S1 which quickly became the fastest selling powered golf cart on the market. It’s sturdiness, quiet running, reliability and tremendous value for money have combined to “speak for themselves”. In May 2007 the S3 Digital Cart was added to the range which boasts features never before seen on an electric golf trolley including nine speed settings, three distance readouts, speedometer, battery meter and clock.
Motocaddy S1

The S1 electric golf trolley is a clean, simple piece of kit and at less than £250 it is one of the cheapest electric trolleys on the market and is absolutely perfect for anyone who is not a fan of gadgets and gizmos that seldom get used.

The single-fold chassis was one of the easiest to set up, taking less than 30 seconds. And if you’re a leftie you’ll be pleased to know there’s a speed wheel control and decent quality handle on both sides of the trolley.

Motocaddy have recently introduced the S1 Digital offering all of the benfits of the original S1 but with a number of added benefits including:

·          Powerful and highly efficient third generation 200W motor
·          Digital platform offering unsurpassed efficiency and reliability.
·          Smaller, lighter battery without any loss of power or performance
·          Key components are now even easier to change. In the unlikely event you encounter a problem, the new S1 Digital includes a revolutionary self diagnosis system to discover the fault and get you back on the course quicker than ever before.

Today's Golfer Verdict:

The S3 leaves little to the imagination

"Motocaddy’s engineers have done everything possible to make the S3 as simple to use as possible. Attention has been paid to getting the small details right, so the overall impression of using the trolley is very positive.

You’ll quickly realise the miniature control panel on the trolley,s handle is the hub, giving you tons of useful information: from how much battery life you have left to telling you the time and temperature, this trolley leaves little to the imagination. Let’s not forget also the nine speed settings and the fact you can measure how far you’ve hit your ball.

We particularly like the latest update, which means it is possible to set the trolley to travel any distance between five and 60 yards (in five-yard increments), which comes as a real bonus when trying to navigate the course as quickly as possible.

On top of everything we’ve said, the trolley feels like one of the lightest we tested, yet it remains stable and manoeuvrable and folds down to a neat package and you won’t have any difficulty slipping it and the rest of your kit into the boot of an average sized family car."
